Hey everyone!
For reference, this is a summary of functions that don’t (yet) exist in TapThatDraft.
Background
TapThatDraft has evolved significantly, since its launch one year ago.
We most especially added team tracking, for roster-aware pick suggestions, to optimize your own roster.
You can tweak and re-order your positional player ranks (calibrated to 0.5 PPR)
ADP Referencing for improved Priority Timing.
We have beta-versions of sync tools for ESPN and Sleeper (complementary for subscribers but not guaranteed)
Plus a lot of other stuff (Boost%, team abbreviations, draft boards, kicker and D/ST selections, etc.) that elevate the tool.
However, this is definitely not a tool that does “EVERYTHING”.
That’s because TapThatDraft grew from a focus of (1) lean appearance and (2) improving your sequence (or Valuation) of positional picks. From there, we have added on, bit by bit.
Known Features That are Not Supported
Some items remain in our development pipeline, and some further user requests:
Syncing is in beta version this year, for Sleeper and ESPN only. Most of the time, it seems to work well, but we’ve been careful to state clearly that’s not officially covered, in the description of Subscription tier.
Syncing for Yahoo, or other platforms.
Syncing is not possible by any other method than using Chrome Extensions.
Keepers. There is no dedicated functionality for Keepers in snake draft leagues. There are possible functional work-arounds, but that’s it.
Different Draft Order than typical Snake. It’s not possible to run Linear drafts, or 3RR, or any variation.
Traded draft picks. This may go with Keepers, but there’s no possibility to change the draft order.
Hosting more than 1 League. The tool is not set up for letting you track multiple sessions. The only exception is that a new session is created when you use the existing syncing tools.
Players beyond the top 250-300, or so. The tool doesn’t include a large database of all NFL players, so you cannot cross-off players with large ADPs. If you need to manually insert a player in the snake draft, you should instead insert a “dummy” Kicker selection.
Specific Kickers and D/STs. The draft tool doesn’t evaluate these streaming positions. There is a button to draft a generic Kicker, or a generic D/ST, which will fill the space in a snake draft. This will not be offered— The Subvertadown website is dedicated to streaming these positions!
Custom Positional Strategy: TapThatDraft makes its best positional recommendation. There’s no option to tell the tool you don’t want to see a QB or a TE until later, according to your own preferred positional strategy.
Hybrid Snake+Auction drafts.
Customize the Player Projection stats.
“Edit Rankings” for any other scoring setting than 0.5 PPR.
Customizing Tiers or any of the other columns.
Different scoring setting options than what you can see: No passing 1st downs (only completions) and no “Bonuses”
Custom Opponent selections in the Auto-mock simulations
Hope this helps, and hope y’all still get the most out of this tool!
